Our Linux conversion is almost complete. All USA locations have updated to the new system. There are only two international locations that have not yet updated. They are scheduled for update after the new year. Many of your counter workstations have been upgraded to UBUNTU Linux. This is an inexpensive method for upgrading older computers. Inexpensive means zero dollars of marginal cost.

We are continuing our work to consolidate customer payment information. This work is in preparation for our upcoming PABP audit. Many times we implement policies that are required for you to comply with the credit card companies policies. These policies are commonly know as PCI. The password complexity and 15 minute idle out are two examples of the requirements. We are currently enforcing the minimum acceptable standards. We know that this has generated much discussion and many complaints.

There have been numerous program changes.
Foreign car exchanges were previously limited to 100 miles. This is no longer the case. You can exchange a foreign car AT ANY TIME. This was particularly important for insurance replacement rentals.

The DRB program was modified to transmit certificate and free day rentals as regular rentals. Previously these transactions were sent as no shows because subttotal2 was 0. This resulted in missing miles requests.

You can now use the customers number one club number for a recurring rental. David Benjamin in Brunswick, GA suggested this enhancement. He noted that the FBO frequently called in reservations with the customer's number one club number.

The inter-city loader program was modified to better account for vouchers .

As requested most reports allow station level selection criteria.

The managers reset menu allows for manager override of many contract items. If you need any further information on using this please contact us.
